the nursery!

while i haven't been as awesome with posting updates on this project, it may be for the best... mostly considering in between these photos the room was pretty much wrecked. (not exaggerating.) so consider yourself lucky to have these nicely groomed updates! :)

well, something told me i really needed to get the nursery done today. and as little one is 3 days past due date, i figured i should listen. needless to say, it's been a busy day.

who doesn't love a comparison? check out the earlier phases of the project here, here and here.

and here we are, at the big reveal!

baby bagley's nursery:

zoey loves this room. items to note: handmade crib skirt (i actually used a sewing machine - thanks,  karen!)
the cradle was handmade by my grandfather and is only mine briefly until the next baby in the family.

white & grey glider from babies r us, shelving installed by mr. and my brother.
changing pad/area (supplies located in dresser drawer).

first crib tester: sock monkey!

closet with sheer curtain and office nook.
additional shelves will be added above the cubbies once said shelves are painted.

detail of our mobile. could not have done this without the mr.!

my proud accomplishment: a candy-apple red crib!

a small sampling of little one's excellent library. <3
and after all is said and done, i couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. i definitely learned a lot of lessons throughout the process (like... it is never as cheap/fast as you think it will be!) so hopefully my next project will be smoother. but... he's really got a place now! he's actually going to show up at some point!

this is really happening! :)

  1. Oh Hun, it looks amazing!!! I wish I had that much decorative skill (instead I rely on ready made rooms, via decals!). He is going to be so happy in there!

  2. Wow, that looks awesome!! XOXO

  3. You're going to have to post pics or details of said bebe before your fans grow restless. :)
